5. Barbara Kohler | Christian Psychotherapist Talks About Her Path to Maintenance-Free Healing

Barbara Jean Kohler is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, Ordained Minister, Personal Growth Speaker, and Christian Songwriter/Recording Artist. In working with hurting people for 25 years, God led Barbara to begin teaching the restoration principles she learned as a healer. Barbara has experience working with individuals who have suffered abuse, PTSD, anger issues, depression, grief/loss and other issues. In addition to her seminar platform and private Christian counseling practice, she has also worked in church settings consulting with pastors, leaders, music ministers, and congregants. Barbara worked in the private sector of workers compensation for 12 years where she trained risk managers and insurance adjusters on the ethical practices of vocational rehabilitation. She has been a speaker for the North Carolina (NC) Bar Association, the NC Association of Self Insurers, the NC School Boards Association, and the NC League of Municipalities as well as other insurance companies and safety organizations. Eastern North Carolina, USA has been her home since 1985.
